Options

I can sort a gallery by Caption but not Title - thats silly in my view!

I view the ability to sort by "Caption" slightly silly, but to not be able to sort by the "Title" is ridiculous in my view. Sorting by title (the primary descriptor) is far more useful if not essential compared to sorting by caption which I consider more a free text description.

Perhaps someone can point out the error of my views,

    You are correct. This is sort by caption. Moving this over to the feature request forum.

    I don't mean to be pedantic ... but didn't the previous system sort by title?
    If so I would consider this a loss of functionality so possibly a "bug" not a new feature?

    I've gone to lengths to title my bird photographs to allow sorting and keen to see this addressed.

    Old site only has a caption but I sorted a couple bird special galleries by caption.

    Biggest problem I have now is my keyword list was used to look up bird species. I have 2366 keywords
    for "warblers" and the new site limits to 1000. You can see this by going to my keywords, old site still active.
