Here is our problem. Our website is devoted to our travel photos. We have files for continents, and galleries inside those.
I started editing our New design and was able to add each gallery by clicking it. Most recent trip is now on top and the last trip, which was the last one clicked, is last. Great, but what about when we go on a new trip. How can we make that one appear first?

Hopefully SmugMug adds the ability to drag to reorder selected galleries by the time of your next trip

The OP may have other options depending on how they have their folders organized... Maybe create a parent folder called Continents or Travels (need to be a bit careful as that shows in the breadcrumbs), then move everything into that folder and then switch their Galleries content block's source to "Folder", then they can use the built-in sorts.
