Call me strange but roosters are handsome.

One proud bird! Did the subject sit very long for you?

I stumbled upon the site of Tamara Staples the other day. Look around in there, and you'll find a bunch of rooster portraits.

He is a lovely bird Maestro, and knows it.

Plus thank you for the Staples site David - the poultry photos are amazing, I wasn't so keen on the decay images but still they are so good - just the subject matter depressing. And if housework made me look that good I'd spend more time on it.

    Good photo of said rooster!

I think I would prefer a bit of white on my rooster???

Loved the photography site! Made me think I should dig a hole and slink myself into it. No way I could photograph like that.

Oh, yes, those maid shots. I had forgotton about those! rolleyes1.gif

Her environmental portraits are quite good, though sadly, there aren't enough of those on her site.

Hey cool site. The Sentimental Journey section was a bit odd, but still done quite tastefully. She certainly likes a bunch of color in her photos. The colors just seemed to jump out at you. The browsing music was just right too.

The little guy was very calm. He was part of an unusual petting zoo at a Halloween carnival we attended over the weekend. This animal keeper had tarantulas, lizards, snakes, African cockroaches, etc... The roosters seemed a bit to "mainstream" for the show, buy they were handsome. I also snapped a pic of Jub Jub from The Simpsons. yelrotflmao.gif
