Hello DGrin! I wanted to share with you a site that helps to find photo equipment listed for sale by members on various photo forums. I launched it after spending too much time looking for a lens for my M9. It's not perfect, as it's not commercial and so it was done in-house :) Would love to improve it in many ways, but first need to see if there is an interest. So here it is, let me know what you guys think!

Cool idea. Seems to work, based on a quick search I did. Good luck! I'm forwarding the site to friends.

Thank you all for the kind replies. I keep using this service myself quite often. Now if could get my programmer friend to improve it sooner than later...

I was using the site regularly but now it appears to be gone. Did you shut it down?

    GearSnapper is back and alive
Hey everyone, I wanted to take the opportunity to share our latest developments with GS. The site has been up and its been optimized to work faster than ever. It was a very hard job to develop this site and we hope we could keep on improving it in the future. We have many ideas and hopes to make this service better for all of us. Right now we are trying to get more steady traffic on the site, as well as getting more people to like us on FB. https://www.facebook.com/gearsnapper

So if you have a blog, please mention us on your blog. If you have a moment, please visit us on FB and like us. We really need support at this point so we could continue making it better and more useful.

All the best, and thank you for using GS.

    :)
