Extended Family Portrait: Vanity Fair Style

I went to tahoe about 3 weeks ago for summer vacation which included a bunch of extended family. Instead of a "everyone line up" shot, I decided to have everyone site down.

Also..my sister-in-law doesn't want her kids faces on the internet.

    I like it!! Everybody's evenly lit, and you even got yourself in shot there, I see. Only query is that I can't judge sharpness at this size, but knowing your geek tendencies I"ll assume the original is tack sharp. :)thumb.gif

    Very nice. I like the idea, as I have used it as well. I like that you included the arch over the doorway. Only thing I might have done differently would be to try the same shot with the camera level, in order to keep vertical lines vertical.

    What I don't get is why a few faces are blurred (kids). I would not post the picture if they didn't wanted to be public.

    I like it!
    Only nit is the 3rd guy from the right on the couch looks uncomfortable, I might have stuck him somewhere else. But that's minor.
    It's not easy with large groups and you pulled it off well.

    btw..I get the blurred faces. no big deal, I think we all realize you wouldn't print it that way.

    I think this is great and love the conversion. The only nit is the folks on the couch on the right look partially hidden and uncomfortable. I think the shot could have been better if you angled the couch on the right out a bit. It would still look like a natural seating arrangement but the subjects would have been more visible.
