i've been wondering how you shoot Infared for a long time. is it a settin on the lense/camera? or is it just a filter:dunno . just pondering this question.

    Daniel, first of all, it would really help if you told us what kind of camera you use... you can fill that information out in your profile. That's how we can see and get info about you, so we can answer your questions..

    She has a 300D listed in her profile.

    I dont believe the 300D is capable of IR photography without hardware modification.

    One of you canon folk confirm this?

    On a Canon 300D you can simply put a Hoya R72 filter on your lens (most any lens but wider is better) and put your camera on a tripod and shoot ... exposure will be longish - 2, 3 seconds.
