The Tricolor Heron: the naturalist said he was young...... I know he is centered, I have a series here and if I had moved him, it would have messed up my "set".

To my amazement, he did not poop, and he did not fly. I don't know what he was doing.

I love yellow feet!!

Now the one below is of a Great Blue Heron in the air. I have looked at the exif, it might be a bit noisy, but it was not as noticeable. The exif is the same as the noisy one, and it is on AV priority, as is the other one. The other one shot at 1/8000 th sec, this one shot at 1/2500 th sec.

Might have made a difference. Neither one should have been on -1.33, but I wanted to show you all some of our fall colors. It was gorgeous out today. I have never noticed fall colors in the low country before, but they were all over. I cut the saturation down a bit on this, I don't like bright fall colors, for no reason, no reflections here, no reason............and they are a bit muted at times.

Night, ginger
Harry, have fun with your son.
Mine is going back in the hospital with unstable angina. They are going to check on the stent and all.

After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Nice series Ginger-1st three are funny
The last image has lovely colors but it seems as if there is something blocking the tail end of the bird, was there a large weed stalk between you and himpuzzled.gif?. Agree with your choiuce of the softer color here though some separtion of tones might help-S curve- being careful not to over do it. Mereimage
