Oh man I'm gonna love DSLR!!
Got my 75-300mm USM today and I'm back to my old 35mm days!
(Missed my Canon A1 and my 60-300mm Tamron now I have a DSLR equivalent!)
Went on a 1 mile nature hike with the "BEAST" and below is what I got.
Color is about gone here so I had to look low for subjects.

Please lemme know what ya think?
I think I'm gonna fit right in with DSLR.
The Sony 828 was depressing me....I knew it wasn't ME it was the camera!
Nothing OOF about my work now. :clap

Went to head down a trail in search of Wildlife and looky who thought I didn't see em 30ft in front of me! :rofl

While a camera can be frustrating in its lack of quality or features (the 828 being a fine camera), to put the focus of the quality of your work on the camera is dangerous.

The default position with photography should always be "It's my fault, not the camera's."

Hey, the camera's just doing what you tell it to in the best of its ability. Learn its shortcomings and its strengths and you can make great pictures with a disposable camera.

Only one problem.....I have been contacted by others who have had the same problem!
There MIGHT be some faulty units.

    PS:
Oh yeah also I'm NOT new to Digital or 35mm so when I make the statement that it's the camera's fault there is a 98% probability that I'm right.
Never had trouble with the last 2 Digitals I've had or the 4-5 35mm's I owned.
If it's my fault I'll be the 1st to admit it.

I love my Sony F828 too....... that swivel lens, and IR ability.... I will not be getting rid of mine :D they all have their drawbacks including the DSLR.
They are in leagues of their own, you really cannot compare a Sony F828 with a DSLR, they are not equal.

Your images look great, and it's good to hear that you are very happy with your gear.......that's what it's all about isn't it, being happy taking pictures and having fun doing it :D looking forward to seeing more. Skippy (Australia)
