Which crop ratio for sports?

I found myself going through photos after a recent High School football game and found that were some photos that I wanted crop. I use Photoshop which gives my some ratio options, however, which ratio is the best for posting in a photo gallery in hopes for people to purchase prints? I know it is also how loosely a subject is photographed as well.
