This head-on shot works well. The way the Tern is looking down suggests
it's looking for food and the wings look as if they're ready to come to that
almost backward looking position when the bird drops to grab a bite to eat.
Would you mind commenting on your exposure technique?

Thank you very much for your comments on this bird image. Oh yes this guy is looking for fish in the water below. They are hard to capture when they go into a dive for a fish. I missed many shots trying, but there is always next year.
