Watermarks

I have a question about watermarks....

I don't typically use watermarks on my site because we have the ability to protect them via right clicks, passwords and available size limits. However in an effort to promote my site and photography I use Facebook, and I don't want my images out there without a watermark. So at the moment I have to export them via Lightroom with a watermark and then upload them from there. It would be awesome if we could share them from within SmugMug and apply the watermark upon sharing?

Please let me know if this sounds like a good idea to anyone else?

Heya Rob,

I will put this in as a feature request. I think Andy is referring to the fact that not alot of people have asked for this, and it would be a good amount of engineering work, so it will most likely be lower on the priority level. And there is an easy enough work around in SmugMug. Watermark the photo, Publish to FB, then remove the watermark.

Fully agree. This is exactly what I'm wanting too. The general viewers should not have to view the images on our websites with watermarks, it's a distraction. I would this feature to be added so we can share our images with branding/watermarking.
