Home page slideshow narrow and wide

I am trying to get my slideshow to be narrow and wide still remaining responsive but it seems to not want to do that for me. I can get it to close but just not like what I want. I have attached something similar to what I want. I know it looks like it but it is not quite there.

I am in the new smugmug. I think I just need to know how the settings need to go. I have it set right now so it looks sorta nice but would like it wider and narrower so my bottom gallery thumbnails still show before the fold of the page.

I suspect you will need photos in that aspect ratio to get the slideshow to be wide but not tall.

Also - are you aware that you appear to have hide owner set to yes for your galleries? With hide owner set to yes the url reverts to www.smugmug.com and all traces of you and your customization are removed. I'd recommend that you change the gallery settings so hide owner is set to no (unless you are trying to remove your identity from your galleries).
