Changes to my site aren't being saved?!?!

So I finally found some time to start working on my new Smugmug site. When the new design was first released, I played around a little and chose the "Smokey" template - and that is what I seem to be stuck with for now!

Yesterday I spend about an hour choosing a different design, previewed it, clicked "save for later" at the end and when I tried to get back to it later in the day, it all had reverted back to "Smokey", needless to say I was pretty upset but figured I must have screwed up somewhere.

So today, I started all over again, spent about another 90 mins on a new design and DEFINITELY hit "save" before exiting, but not yet ready to actually publish the site just clicked "save for later". Yet again, none of my changes (switch to different template, customizing home page, nav bar etc.) were saved and now I am beyond upset, I am actually quite mad, because this is a lot of time spent for nothing. And time has been rather hard to come by lately. Can anyone help? Why are my changes not being saved? I am trying to switch to the "Dina" template and I am using Chrome.

You have not unveiled, yet, right? (That's where I am as well.)

I do not use Preview, so let's see if I can help you can find what you saved.
Go to Site customize, on the right side (black area), click the tab for THEME.
Scroll to the bottom, the last link is MY THEMES.
Open it and see if you have a theme there.
Click it and see if it brings the theme onto your site.

I've heard that Preview is buggy, which is why I don't use it.
    I suggest:
    - When you're done customizing, click DONE (top right corner, on green bar)
    - And then "Publish Now".
This will 'save for you only to view privately'.
(Once you Unveil, Publish will publish publicly.)

You need to apply your theme to each section. Sections are at the top right (black area), Entire Site, Homepage, All Folders, All Galleries, and Just this page. So if you started this experiment in Entire site, opened your theme into it. Then did Done/Publish, and then re-opened to edit further, and went to Homepage, you might have lost the theme. Repeat, then - go to theme, down, open the saved theme. Etc. Once you've done Done/Publish to all sections, your entire site will be consistent.

ChancyRat, THANKS! I didn't understand the terminology correctly, I thought mistakenly that clicking "publish" would "unveil" my website so I never clicked on it. Thus it reverted back to the first change that I made weeks ago every time (I guess I must have clicked to publish back then). I found the different designs that I had created yesterday and today and after clicking "publish", the latest revision now pops up when I log in. Thanks again, was getting really frustrated there for a sec!
