White-tailed kite hunting

Got this one at Ellwood Mesa in Goleta (CA). This guy was just floating over the meadow with Santa Ynez Mtns in background. Makes for a nice, simple photo: sky, bird, mountains.

The other two are mostly uncropped but kind of neat. Nice light.

    Thanks Stumblebum! Just added a couple of them to this thread. Apparently these guys hang out at this place a lot. Would be fun to spend day up there trying to shoot at closer range.
