Textbox-Slideshow-Thing?

I'm having difficulty placing a name on what I want, so I apologize in advance for the confusion my thread might create.

I'm trying to create a textbox slideshow - similar to a photo slideshow, but instead of photos, it would be text. I suppose I could create a text-PNG with transparent backgrounds and then upload them as photos, but I was wondering if anyone has done it purely with text. The text-show (new word?) would be on my homepage as a welcome-banner for client testimonials. Any help is appreciated!

Hi there! To accomplish what you've described, you will need to create images of the text and upload them to a gallery, then use a Slideshow content block to create and display the slideshow on your homepage. Just like you've already devised.

This is a good idea and is why I posted a feature request to allow a smaller homepage slideshow minimum height. In most cases 250 pixels is too tall for text.

Thanks Chadd and Dennis! The slideshow request would be greatly helpful. I first tried to make the transparent-PNGs for text and the slideshow box was a bit clunky due to it's size on my homepage. Please keep me posted on any updates!
