Small park so birds are relatively more acclimated to people, presenting opportunity to get close. Caught golden hour in right spot! All criticism cherished!

    Gorgeous! I think 14 is my fave, even if it may be a tad less sharp than the others.
    How zoomed in would you say you were, or how much cropping did you do? How cool the birds let you get that close.

    Thanks Jojo! I was at 400mm for most of the shots, the maximum I have. For #14 you are seeing 20% of the shot. Cheers!

    Wow! very nice work! 14th is superone. but my fav is #7. can you give more details on that one? the layers of waters. the half face in water .... and everything about that picture I just love iloveyou.giflust

    Wonderful set. My very favorite is 4. The color & clarity is spot on and background is excellent. I've driven past Vasona Park numerous times but haven't made the effort to stop and visit. Judging from your photographs the park looks very promising, indeed!

    You were dialed in with terrific light, Taz! #7 is my fave: it has such a calm and pleasing palette to it.

    Great detail, nicely done. Don't recall ever seeing such clear images of the ducks head under water; very cool.
