scroll bar not working in chrome (smugmug gallery navigation)

I am having problems navigating through my galleries that have more than 20 pages of images (which is most of them), in chrome. The scroll bar appears, but you can no longer drag it up or down to select a page). The only way to select a page that is past 20 is to hover your cursor and hit the down arrow.... Most of my customers will have trouble with this. This also seems like a new issue, as a I have not had this problem before. This is with the latest version of Chrome browser. I tested it in the latest version of IE and that seems to be working.

I looked at a gallery in Chrome and had to trouble scrolling. Was unable to look at your gallery since you didn't provide a link.

Please try clearing your browser cache, then close your browser and restart it for the changes to take effect.

I cleared the cache, restarted, and am still seeing the same problem.
try to scroll to page 40 by not using down arrows or a scroll wheel, and let me know if it works for you:

I'm not sure what you mean by scroll bar here since there isn't a scroll bar on the browser window to jump through the pages of the gallery.

I used the right arrow to jump through the pages in your gallery and was able to access all pages (including 40 and beyond) when using Chrome.

I see the issue too. It's the little scroll bar in the drop-down that appears when you click the arrow in the page numbers below the thumbnails. (I hope that's sufficiently confusing!) That scroll bar only appears when there are so many thumbnail pages that the whole list would reach the bottom of the screen. I can reproduce it on my site in the one gallery that has a sufficiently large number of pictures. (See http://jtringl.smugmug.com/Other/Plants-but-no-animals/n-33M7q. That gallery is unlisted but nothing special. It's just an experimental smart gallery that I never got around to purging.)

Since the problem is unique to Chrome, it might be their implementation of the drop-down list tool (via <select>) that SmugMug is calling.

I think I just verified that the issue is specific to the current version of Chrome. I couldn't reproduce the issue...the scrolling worked just fine...then I updated Chrome because it was one version out-of-date, relaunched Chrome, and now the scrolling doesn't work, just as you described. This looks like a Chrome issue and not a Smugmug issue...but maybe there is something Smugmug is doing that influences it to behave badly...no clue.

I just re-visited this one. It looks like the latest sub-version of Chrome (32.0.1700.102 m) fixes this.
