Where are all of these numbered keywords coming from??

More importantly, how do i get rid of them?

On my search page, smugmug is picking up tons of numbered keywords. I have no Idea where this is coming from. I have not entered these numbers as keyword. How do I get this to stop?

Have a look here:

Go into your account settings under the Discovery > Search
and check off Filename Keywording.

This is usually where the numbers come from.

In the past a Smugmug support hero could delete them all for you. Try emailing the help desk.

Thanks. Changed it as directed, but they are still there. Maybe it's one of those things that take a little time to go into effect. If it doesn't disappear soon I will email for help.

Hi Cynthia,

As Allen mentioned it looks like you have filename keywording turned on. Turning that off will prevent future instances. To remove current ones you can quickly remove keywords using the bulk keyword tool through the organizer. In the organizer go to a gallery that contains photos that have filename keywords. Then, click the wrench and choose Captions & Keywords:

Then, in the quick entry menu drop down choose Remove Numeric in all keywords. Then, select all and click Preview. Click Save when you like the results:
