Quick Settings Description

Hello Heros!
How can I add a description to a Quick Setting?? I want all my galleries in a folder to have the same description, the description will be just instructions on how to download their photo.
I want to be able to just save it to a Quick Settings and not have to type it to every single one of my galleries.

The description is not included in the quick setting.

From the help page at http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/723826-can-i-save-gallery-settings-as-a-template-:

FYI: Quick Settings do not include gallery title, description, keywords, category, subcategory, NiceName, or theme so those things will need to be tweaked for each gallery. Applying a Quick Setting to an existing gallery will not re-make thumbnails or re-watermark photos already in the gallery.

If you're using new smug, substitute "folders" for the reference to "category, subcategory".

I'm using the New Smugmug, how do I substitute Folders for Category-Subcategory? will I be able to add a description to all of the galleries?

Hi Luis,

Kaydin here From SmugMug,

If you were to add the downloading information to the discription of one gallery, then save the quick settings and apply it to other galleries, all the settings from that gallery would over ride the other galleries, if any of the settings were different.

I would suggest that you add a Text Content Block to the All Galleries element of your site. This way you can show the text on how to download photos on all the galleries without having to have all the gallery settings be the same.

The method that Kaydin describes (in post above) of adding a content block to "all galleries" will place the same description on all galleries.
