This week-end I had a new model in the studio, a first time shoot.... I think that this girl has it...I wonder what you all think about Vicky and the pictures. I have posted 3shots, just to see the difference in the models expression. Not bad I think for a first time.

Great photography and model. Great job on lighting, staging and she has a natural presence when photographed.

Especially love the last one where it looks like it could have been natural light through a barn door. All are lovely! thumb.gif

I was excited for you until the last one. When I see a pretty girl with a cigarette, she then may as well have a penis. Complete turn-off.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

Thanks Divamum, strange that some don't like the last one where you do like it… By the way I like the last one as well.

Thanks JMPphotocraft, I am a none smoker and so is the model. But as a model they will have to pose with different things if employed as a model. In this shot I tested the girls ability to pose with a product and that happened to be a cigaret (just because she is a non-smoker and hates cigarets). Models have to pose and act…. if they can not , no matter how pretty they are, then they are useless as a model. The cigaret is just an attribute and could have been something else…. But I understand your point .

I love that first and second shots. What was the lighting setup for it?

TXS, left from the model a Broncolor Para 222, lateral on the models side. In the front a Broncolor para 88.

She is really cute..that second shot is nice. In 1 she looks a bit uncomfortable....new model and all, great idea on the set up. Yeah the last one....not feeling it.
