Iconic symbol! Drove there first day after I moved from East coast to West 15 years ago. Been afraid of pointing camera at it, as many successful pros have dedicated entire books to the subject so standards are high. Not gonna get there without trying so these are first attempts starting within last couple of months. Intend to keep trying for something epic.

So you got to Kirby Cove, huh? I like what you did with it. The Ft Baker night shots are really great. Especially #8, and I don't usually gravitate towards vertical shots. Nice work my friend.

My favorites are #2 and #3 - I love Fort Point and the story behind saving it when the bridge was built.
The Chief Engineer (Strauss) wanted to save the fort and built the massive arch over the fort. Rumor has it that he told the money men that he need to build the arch in order to earthquake proof the bridge and thereby saving the fort. Not sure if that is true, but makes for a good story!

So I don't know how to straighten different portions of the picture independently yet, assuming such capability exists.
It was either straightening the ground-horizon or bridge for me, and stuck with the bridge as that is far more displeasing if tilted.
In #2 I can probably do better job of straightening it, but ignored the horizon and kept bridge as my target!

If you get a chance, talk about lighting on 7,8,9 and gold color - how was this done - in-camera or post processing or both?

Thanks Phil! Appreciate your comments truly as always! Staring at these caused me to probably lose my sense of level. Will have to check. I tried to use the horizontal lines as marker! The gold in 8 and 9 is thanks to thick low clouds that were hanging over, even though everything below had clear visibility. So the lights that create reflections in water, also reflected from top. In fact you can see the shadow of the bridge in the clouds above. I did warm it up in post by few hundred points to further accentuate the gold. Nothing else. In most of night shots have realized that it is counter intuitive and have to in fact under expose somewhat and have to pull yellow and orange back, especially luminance slider in Lightroom to get some details. Thanks again!!
