    Boy, Willard, truer words were never spoken. In the later 80's and early 90's, I was fortunate enough to structure some pretty big real estate transactions down in the Chihuahua area. I was aligned with a very wealthy Mexican family ( who also had substantial interests in the U.S. ) and for a while folks down there must have thought we were a reincarnation of George Patton as he rolled through Germany. Ultimately, though, the prevailing attitude of " MAÑANA ", in even the highest financial circles down there, became too much for me to tolerate. The game I was playing required quick decisions and bold moves..... two attributes that proved to be illusive in even the top echelons of the Mexican government and private business.
    I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Well, you're in luck, Steve. I had cropped this at first, but posted the original because I wanted to keep his pocket watch, hands and what I really liked, the out-of-plumb table top in the foto.

    Is this what you meant?

    I think your instincts were correct--the hands and watch add character, so I prefer the uncropped image.

    I agree, however I like that you show more of the hat and hair on the crop. Something in between?

    Good point, Cristóbal. I guess the original wasn't uncropped, just a different crop. Maybe open up the right side of the first image a bit?

    There's a nasty-looking chair on the right which is why it's cropped.

    Although the watch and hands are worthy props I like the crop better. Just my $0.02. :D
