Egagment Session on the Harbor

The bride was specific in the style she wanted and it was a magazine/commercial look with a mix of photojournalism. These were taken at the Destin Harbor and Emerald Grande Resort in Destin Florida the day before their wedding. Shot with a fuji x100s and X-t1/56 1.2 and AB800 for off camera flash.

    Really liking #5 and #7. Their skin looks oversaturated to me in some of the others

    #2 is strongest....wish bottom of her leg was not clipped and had tad more space below the leg....also a a pole is sticking into the frame from left side...cropping candidate.
    #6 is nice comp but part of her face is not just in shadow but completely wiped out...
    #8 is solid but too centered and there is opportunity of leading lines behind them as they had both light and columns I think....

    #1, 2, 6, and 7 break one of my usual rules; light 'em from the guy's side. This gives the more gentle light to the girl, and the harder light to the guy. Try both, next time, and see what you like best...

    #1, 2, 6, and 7 break one of my usual rules; light 'em from the guy's side. This gives the more gentle light to the girl, and the harder light to the guy. Try both, next time, and see what you like best...
