Thats a great shot, but lets not talk about alcohol. I'm 1/2 way into what seems to be a 2 day hangover. At least we all had a great time at the comedy club :)

I was just guessing, but I would think dynamic range would mean the amount of detail or variance in tone in between the true whites and the true blacks.

I didn't have a clue either. I glad to know I'm not the only one. I think Greaper has it right though. Nice shot BTW.

Yeah, nice work greaper. I guess it's because there's a blown out white and a pure black in the same image. I know when I see certain B&W shots, what attracts me is the dynamic range from white to black. Maybe that's why I go extreme when I use Channel Mixer.

Sorry for the hijack, Lynn. It is a nice shot. And dinner sounded good too. How's the ankle doing?

Thanks sid.. cast comes off on Tuesday and a big brace thing goes on, possible slight weight bearing may ensue.. at present I"m still not allowed to put it to the floor.. I'm getting used to being "handicapped" it's amazing how nice people are to a person in a wheelchair.. it's been an enriching experience. I'm working on the last of the "Calendar Girls"... I'll be glad when it's done.
