If you are viewing this on a website where this is a garbled address:http://visionxmobile.blogspot.co.uk/, and the background to the text is very pale, then you are viewing a copy reproduced without the copyright owner's permission, from the Digital Grin Holy Macro forum and encouraging this breach of copyright.

This was taken as a test shot for a (then) newly-acquired Kiron 70-210mm manual focus lens.

Anyway, in the morning sun, just before the breezes started (impossible to get all in focus with any movement): hand-held at 1.5m (just out from the 'Macro' focus) 1/500 f11 at ISO 200. Cropped to square format.

It looks like at least good value for money at £15!

This will be useful, when out doing general photography, for a range of moderate close-ups without changing to my Kiron 105mm.

    Looks good :)

    Thanks, Brian.

My interest arose from the excellent performance of my other Kiron lenses and when my EP-2 gave poor AF focusing with the Olympus Digital AF 4/3 70-300. The latter works much better with my EM-1, as shown in recent posts, and is much lighter and less bulky, so the Kiron zoom has remained in the background.
