My Sister-in-law's Wedding
Here are some highlights of the photos I took from my sister-in-law's wedding the Sunday before last. From 350 shots, I got about 64 keepers. I suppose with more experience, the amount of keepers will increase. A pro photographer was hired for the job, I took these merely for the fun and experience.
These were taken using my Canon 300D, a rental Canon 28-70mm f/2.8L, and a rental Canon 550EX flash. They were shot in JPEG format and post-processed in Photoshop Elements 4.0.

(Any ideas on how to make the girl in the center stand out from the other girls?)
(Does the framing/cropping on this picture work? I was forced to take this shot at an odd angle.)
(How can I remove that flower branch from the front of her face?)

you have some fun shots here.. I need more time to study them so I'll get back to you later today.. I did some practice shots of a wedding once and I found it incredibly difficult..

Yes, it looks good. And for the record, if you don't point it out, most people won't know it's odd ;-)
I find when a shot has to be taken at an angle for some reason, the shot usually works. On the other hand, when a shot is taken tilted for no reason other than "it looks cool" it usually doesn't work because there are no cues in the photo that compliment or recommend the tilt.

Use the clone tool. It is a lot of work an the results are not guaranteed to be better than keeping the branch there. But it's an option if you need it.

It is warmer than the others. But I like it. I would probably want to warm them all closer to this level myself.

The warmth may be nice, but this shot is oversaturated, IMO.

I quoted the ones I like most. My absolute favourites are the ones with the boy that looks into the camera and the first one with the little girl. I think these are fantastic!!
And I love the last two BW images. They are really interessting! The woman doesn't look too happy, or maybe she is just tierd. You wonder what goes on inside her head...
