About 35 years ago my father planned a trip to Cuba via Moscow form Rome Italy, but at the last minute we had to change plans and we visited Israel instead( and we loved it ), so 35 years later and unfortunately without my father, I had the chance to visit Cuba. And here it is ...

I think this picture with this kind of PP fits the feel of a picture taken 50 years ago and not last week

Great compositions and really nice colors. The cars are just amazing to see and actually still on the road being utilized every day. Who would've thought? thumb.gifthumb

Thank you both ...well those cars are American only on the outside, over the years as the cars start to break down and the Embargo stopped the supply of spare parts, the Cubans were forced to come up with inginius solutions to keep'em on the road so they started to replace the American engines with more robust and bigger Russian Diesel engines and some japaneise truck parts. I will post more later on.

That statue was located in the gardens of a big mansion that i belive it was some kind of Government Institute, our driver told me that it supposed to represent the helping hands during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy in 2012, the reason I saw that statue is because i went to take a picture of this statue just 100/200 yards away ...
