    He's OK. He visits the island often and posted some pics of some of the structures he'd taken on his last visit.

    The damage and loss of life is immeasurable-it doesn't look like there was any real place for residents to shelter from that kind of storm.

    Ironically, this week's Air Disasters featured a NOAA P3 Orion with a belly RADAR and a military C-130 penetrating Hurricane Hugo. Sort of brought the magnitude of what happened in Vanuatu to the forefront and put a pretty serious face on the disaster.
