Captured this sequence while visiting with friends in Virginia City Montana on the 4th of July.

This is my third attempt at fireworks and the best view point I've had. I was situated directly across a small valley from the launch point.

The last 2 had one going of as it came out of the tube. this started about a dozen small fires on the dry hillside, but the local fire dept. had them out in less than 5 minutes, before they could spread.
