Please don't make me re-do my menu with each template

If you consider something like wordpress, another platform that is very familiar with themes/templates, you are able to modify your theme without impacting your navigation.

Smugmug it seem when ever I want to try on a new theme, I start over again with a default menu, and have to redo my menu. Can't we leave it in place?

I also noticed something similar with some content I had added to my folders. I had added a text block with a bit of a copyright notice, explaining image use. Then later I decided to try on a new theme, and only later realized that my content was gone because it was saved with other theme. I realize that saving things might conflict with a new theme, but maybe it would be possible to have an option to essentially reset a theme to default if I chose, but otherwise, keep my content blocks available.

I would add the menu to the "entire site" then no matter the theme it would show. Probably same with the banner/logo.

Saving common elements across designs is something we'd also like to see. I agree, things like logo, navigation bars, social icons, etc, shouldn't have to be redone.

I wholeheartedly support this request. Trying out new themes is a pain now.
