Re-position logo so it vertically aligns with horizontal menu?

I currently have my logo sitting above a horizontal top menu. Both are centered. What I would like to do is left justify the logo and vertically align it with the menu, similar to what SM does with their logo/menu when you are logged in and customizing your site. Can someone help me with the CSS to accomplish this?

    Both those can be dragged and positioned next to each other. Horizontal positioning might be a challenge though.

    Thanks Allen. That worked after I realized I was attempting to position them on homepage rather than entire site.
