I'm new to the whole SEO thing. There are several places to change it.
First, on a single photo, it has a place for "tags." Is that just for the search bar of your website or is that for other search engines to find you?
Second, the Gallery settings Meta Keywords. Is this where google searches for things?
The third is the actual site/homepage Meta Keywords.
For the best change of my website showing up on google, do I want to write things in one word segments like "Photographer, utah, wedding" or do I want to do phrases like "Utah wedding photographer," or both? Which will get me more search engine hits? Any help wold be awesome.

I have also seen success in file naming conventions. Name your file accordingly. Example : Sunrise-Over-Grand-Traverse-Bay-Traverse-City-Michigan.jpg instead of DSC123.jpg. Believe it or not, this naming convention actually resulted in a few sales of my landscape photography by people who were searching for "Grand Traverse Bay Traverse City Mi" images.
