Asilomar beach is near Carmel California. I just found it and believe it is photographer's dream. Have to uncover more. Made 2 trips so far and found two different kind of light and conditions.

Below are my attempts. All criticism is heartily cherished!

    Absolutely prehistoric looking. I think I see some Trilobites crawling up onto the shoreline in some of those images. #'s 3 and 8 are my faves.

    Well... I can't think of one critical thing to say. Beautiful. I especially liked #3, where you turned to the north and caught the subtle play of light on the rocks and hitting that one wave.

    There were some Pelicans around but I didn't have the reach!:D

    Beautiful pictures, I really like 4 and 8 because the colors on the sky.

    Nice set of images. Love the last one the best. May have to visit it this on my next trip to the coast.

    Beautiful set, Taz. I love the color of the water you captured in 2 & 3, which also got great light on foreground and background. The others are really nice, but number 7 doesn't do much for me. Nice sky there, but the rest is a bit flat. Maybe brighten and warm the foreground a bit? I guess that comment reflects what I like so much about 2 and 3. Thanks for sharing.
