    Very nice set. It's hard not to shoot at least a couple flower images in the spring, when all the trees and flowers are blossoming and blooming.

    #3 is a beautiful portrait of the Calla Lily bloom. thumb.gifthumb

    Beautiful! We also have Mexican evening primrose.

    I attended a class on photographing flowers once. On number 3, the instructor would have said that the foreground is terrific but it would help to kill the bright background with a piece of posterboard or something. FWIW.

    Thanks Don, and thanks very much for your tip - I totally agree!
    Although I like the bokeh and the colors for a background, the brightness did bother me... So, I did work-up a different click to a more muted background.
    It's a little better I think:
