An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

Very nice! Looks like fun. One of the Umpires for my softball league was stating that some of the Baseball leagues a couple counties over have no photog and have been asking around... he took my card and said to expect the calls to come in, so I may have my chance to shoot like this as well. clap.gif

Keep posting, looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks. I do love me some batter follow-through! Definitely chase that business, hopefully your counties aren't that big! Shooting HS was fun, they play quality ball. However this was their last regular season game. They hired me because it was senior day. I'm going to ask if they want me for the playoffs. However then I would assume I won't be allowed inside the fence like I was this time. I'd have to rent a 400 if that's the case. For this I was able to be near the 1st and 3rd base coaches. I used my 7D2 and 70-200/2.8II. The reach was ok. A little short to shoot SS or 3rd from the 1st base side, but good for P, 2B, C, RF, and batters.

The funny thing was I'd shot all these guys as kids in LL in years past. Time flies!!
