Most likely an angle-shade moth I think.
See that pointy end at the left side? If I touch the cocoon, it moves sharply, so there is life in full growth inside, but I'm not sure when the birth of a moth is due.
In 3 days it has actually moved about 2 inches across the surface of the ground...
