All SmugMug sites have been published to the New SmugMug a long time ago. With the exception of a few tools that haven't been updated to the look of the New SmugMug, Old SmugMug is no more.

I would have thought so, but hadn't seen any announcement to that effect. I was just wondering why the Customisation Support forum for legacy sites still exists.

I'm not a fan of deleting things when they could instead be archived. As such, you don't see the Legacy Customization forum on the Support forum. It's hidden (aka archived) for posterity sake.

I can see it in, and link to it from, the dropdown menu! ne_nau.gif

You might want to re-write the "New SmugMug Customization" forum description: "This is the customization forum for the New SmugMug. If you would like customization assistance on Legacy SmugMug, please see the Legacy SmugMug Customization Forum" mwink.gif

Seems to me that if Legacy SmugMug is gone and being hidden from history, then there also should no longer be any public references to a "New" SmugMug. In other words, the "New SmugMug Customization" forum should be called simply "SmugMug Customization."

The word "New" is potentially confusing to any SmugMug users who weren't around when there was a legacy SmugMug. New, compared to what? It should all just be SmugMug now.

Yep -- we've been slowly phasing out the word "new". You'll notice in the Drop Down menu above under "Support", I call it just "SmugMug Customization." I've also changed the "New SmugMug Customization" forum to be just "SmugMug Customization." We'll slowly phase out "New" as we can.
