Hey Denise, I am planning to keyword/caption my photos for the first time. I use Lightroom as my editor and had thought I would create my keyword/captions there since it would be useful for searching the full set of my photos, and not just the subset I post on SM. But your comment intrigues me. Can you share with us the key advantages you see with doing yours in the Chrome bulk edit tool vs in SM?
As I mentioned in my previous post, I create my keywords and captions in Lightroom, not in the Chrome bulk tool.
If your photos are already loaded in smug and you want to update multiple photos then the Chrome bulk tool is a good option.
Request: Restore ability to bulk edit Keywords and Captions at the side-wide level of any Keyword (i.e., within a "keyword gallery").
Benefits: This is critical for organized and consistent keyword utilization. In the legacy system, the Many Photos Caption/Keyword tool was available within any gallery, including Keyword (results) galleries -- a very efficient way to refine keywords (split, aggregate, re-word, etc.). In the new system, it appears that the only way to see/change a keyword across all its images is one image at a time -- an extremely inefficient workflow.

I am currently going through this looking for a solution but have found none.
As you can see I have hundreds of numeric keywords that have been generating behind the scenes from a keyword extractor that I really didn't know was on.
I have reach out to the help desk to remove all these numeric keywords which they were able to do in the old smugmug but not they tell me that they can no longer do this.
I am hoping you were able to find a solution. If so, please let me know.

For now, I'm using the smart-gallery workaround (create a virtual gallery to act as a particular keyword's gallery, then modify that keyword selectively). But that's a different use case from yours. It sounds like you need to (1) collect many keywords and then (2) remove all numerics. If I were you, I'd try pilotdave's suggestion in your other thread (http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=183552&page=3). You'll probably only need a few Smart galleries, and Smugmug's option to "X Remove numeric" keywords with a single click should make quick work of your cleanup.
