Very nice work. Those are among the very best shots I've seen of this aircraft.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thank you all, the Antonov 225 is the biggest plane in the world with a payload of 250 Tons (500.000 lbs) and it is the only one ever produced and operating, it has been a real treat to be able to capture it landing here in Houston

Outstanding, Gabe! I've caught -124s a number of times here in Charlotte, but I've yet to see a -225 in person. Apparently one came through here about a year before I moved down, but I'm still hopeful. You did a great job capturing the beast!

Great pics and wow, what an aircraft. I've seen YouTube videos on that plane and it is simply amazing, by all measures. And oh so expensive to fly, to an extreme!

Yes, but when you have to ship a 200 ton generator, you can pay a bundle to fly it in this beast, or have your plant out of service for 4 months while it makes it way there on a cargo ship. :)

I think it was in houston to pick up some aerospace or satellite parts, it was his second flight to Houston in the same week (Thursday and Sunday)

It's amazing how they've turned that and its smaller siblings into a real heavy lift business. We see the 124 landing to pickup satellites frequently and even that is huge (and really loud).

They are going to build more Antonov 225 because they just signed a deal to build more in partnership with China
