Videos won't start first time

I expect, when I click on a thumbnail of a video to open it, to then be able to click on the start button in the middle of the video and for the video to start playing. That rarely happens for my videos. Usually, I click on the start button, the button on the lower left of the timeline turns to a pause button, but the screen turns black and nothing happens. The timeline does not start moving (i.e. it doesn't seem to be a buffering issue). If I then click on the pause button, and back on the start button, the video will usually play. This is not so bad for me, but terrible for my viewers who are more likely to give up.

PS: I am on Windows 10. They never play in Chrome, they sometimes play in IE.

    Hi Bob,

There is currently a bug filed with regards to this behavior. Your gallery was already tagged in that discussion but, I've added some additional information and our team is looking into it.

    Hi Bob,

I have had the same problem with video play on the website. I have played around with different browsers and have found a way to get the videos to play. It is far short of a fix to your problem though. When I click on your videos the play screen comes up after loading the video. Initially there is only a play button visible. If you briefly wait the title screen of your video appears. If you wait approximately five seconds after the title screen appears and then push play, the video will work properly. I know the problem is how to express those instructions to the people viewing your website and still look professional. Please try that on your computer and let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks
