Settings for New Galleries

Hi

I may be missing something, but I am sure that previously when creating a new gallery, it was possibly to select display style from the presets. Recently, this appears not to be the case, and having created and uploaded pictures to a gallery, I then have to go into Organise - Settings and adjust the appearance there.

Am I going mad, or has something changed? If the latter, please change it back!

If you request the create new gallery from the organizer you will see all options.

If instead you create the gallery from the viewable part of your site using UPLOAD... To new gallery, then you will see a limited set of options. I always create new galleries from the Organizer.

Thanks. Has that changed? My workflow has always been to use the Upload button for new galleries, and it is only recently I've noticed this. Either way, it is an extra unnecessary step!

There used to be a "Quick Settings" option in the Upload > New Galleries panel, but it wasn't applying all the values of the quick setting, so we took it away until we are able to fix the issue. We have a few things in the works that will help you with this once we're able to release them into the wild. Stay tuned!
