Apple: How to be a better phone photographer

I got a kick out of this.

From what I gather, Apple thinks that dumbing things down to pushing a button will make everyone a better photographer.

    Couldn't find the tip related to taking backlit pics (@ water level) of waterfowl taking off ... has it been removed?
    (probably in the next set of releases for 'niche' snappers / genres, eh, Steve ?)

    At $1,099 for an iPhone 8, I think I'll keep my inexpensive 5D3 for a while. Now, where did I put my flip phone?

    While I get the logic of simpler, it leads to far less interesting images. I also believe this is will make it harder for some to make the leap from phone to more advanced photography.

    I'm all for technology to assist, but when it takes the "thinking" away, it doesn't seem to help us all that much in the long run.
