A better way to blog

I've set up a blog like it was mentioned in the article you guys have posted but I don't feel as if it will be treated as a true blog. It is also a fairly complex thing to set up. A simple blog editor with ways to add pictures would be greatly appreciated! Adding pictures now is difficult at best.
