Smart Gallery, or "not so smart" gallery, not pulling in photos

Yodels everyone!!

I have a smart gallery that seems to have lost the ability to pull in photos with an associated keyword. In this case, it's my portraits portfolio and I use "portport" for the trigger. The gallery does not want to recognize photos that have that keyword.

I made sure that the gallery settings are properly set and that the selected pictures contain the correct keyword. "
