Mechanical versus Nature

I've been shooting this location for a number of years. This old Mack school bus belongs to a friend. He lived in this bus while restoring an old house back to livable conditions. Lighting conditions here are challenging. It's located at the base of a 4000 ft plus mountain and by the time the direct sun lights it up, it's to high in the sky for low angle light. Short of artificial lighting, which I don't own, or have experience using, I think shooting in the open shade has been my best option. C&C welcomed.

Good shooting, Phil. I particularly like the first one.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I like the first one as well, Phil. The lighting enhances the colors.

Thanks all. It's a fun shoot, there's a 2-3 week window while all the flowers are in bloom. Next up, try to shoot some humming birds attracted by all the red Crocosmia.
