orchids in a greenhouse

Yesterday I needed a flower fix so I headed to the greenhouses of Lyman Estate hoping to find some color.

Many of the flowers I am accustomed to seeing there were not in bloom but oh! there were orchids! I'm fascinated by the variety of these beautiful flowers.

1 :: a Lady's slipper

2 :: tiny

3 :: pretty in pink

Denise I think you were shooting too close to some of these

Check out the minimum distance for your lense

1,3 & 7 are in focus, the balance a little soft

That said, they are all beautiful

Nice set Denise! I think the background didn't separate as well maybe because these guys are tightly packed and distance of things behind the subject is small.....can't help that....cheers!

Thanks! You're right, it was quite tightly packed in the greenhouse.
