I've been digital painting lately. This is from my Owl series. This one is titled 'Owl's family picture' There is always that one family member who goofs up the picture!
The mosaic artwork that is all over the Cathedral on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg, Russia. All done with small ceramic tiles and gold leaf. Each tile is not bigger than 1/2 inch square. Took 24 years to complete the memorial church. Alexander III had it built after his father, Alexander II was killed on the ground where the "cathedral" was built.
