    Light and background are both poor in #1.....#3 has best light, but the twigs in top left corner are major eye pull and distracting......
    The second one has potential....especially if you can either more of that band on the left or take out entirely.

    Hey Dane...

    These shots are good practice shots. They have a low broad interest of subject interest

    Keep taking them , to get used to your cam, get exposure practice

    If I took them (and have taken thousands of similar) I would look to see how the sharp coarse bark interact with the subtle powdery snow & decide if I like it or never shot it again....

    Keep clickin'...
