Permanent URLs for images

I'm thinking of using images stored on my Smugmug site on another web site. Knowing myself I'm probably going to reorganize albums later, no matter how well I try to plan ahead, which would break the that the path I get in the share dialog. Is there some way to get a permanent URL for an image so it will always work despite re-arranging galleries etc?

(I have a vague memory reading somewhere that this is possible)

    The photo links from "share" will always redirect to the photo even if the path changes.
