Gatto is right. It's an Indian Rhino. What look like eye sockets are the nostrils.

The African black rhino and white rhinos (which are both gray) have a wide upper lip suitable for grazing.
The Indian rhino has a prehensile upper lip useful for pulling leaves off trees and shrubs into its mouth.

Found all this out touring White Oak in Yulee FL. It's a 16,000 acre conservation center that, among other
    things, breeds rhinos. https://www.whiteoakwildlife.org/

That White Oak institution that Tony mentions is quite interesting. If you're into animal conservation and related issues, are in north Florida, and have the time, this place should be on your must see list. Occasionally, they run a special event that entails detailed tours of the facilities and a comprehensive discourse about their current programs and a look at where they want to go. All that and a great dinner as well.....for $150 per person. Don't miss it.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

We didn't do the dinner thing, but we did the tour. We spent the morning riding around
in a open vehicle seeing the various enclosures and animals. They stopped frequently
and let us go up to the fences.

Very few photos were taken. It's not really good for photographs because you have to
shoot through the high fences, but it's definitely an interesting and informative morning.
Camera phones work better than dslrs because you can get the lens through the fence.

If I'd do it again, I'd use a video camera instead of going for stills. A video would capture
    the scene better.

Dunno the cost of the tour. It was my daughter's birthday present to me.
